Benefits of breastmilk
All women are amazing and for those who choose to breasfteed, it is a personal choice between you and your baby or babies.
Babies receive a unique fluid in breastmilk, full of antibodies to help fight infections which keeps changing to meet the needs of a growing, changing baby!
The World Health Organisation recommends exclusive breastfeeding for about the first six months and continued breastfeeding alongside other foods for at least the first two years and beyond.
... But remember, you don't have to breastfeed if you don't want to. There's no evidence to say that babies who are formula-fed are at disadvantage compared to breastfed babies.
