A New Era
The Tripp Trapp was born in 1972 and marked the beginning of a new era for Stokke and one that will shape it's future and focus. The ingenious Tripp Trapp® chair created by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik did something completely new; it gave children an ergonomic seat of their own, one that would grow with them.
Bringing them closer
Tripp Trapp fits right up to your dining table, bringing your baby into the heart of your family, allowing him or her to learn and develop alongside you. The intelligent, adjustable design allows freedom of movement with both depth and height adjustable seat and footplates.
From Birth
The Tripp Trapp is the perfect place for your new arrival to rest and explore the world around them. Simply add on the newborn set to give them a cozy, comfortable and ergonomic environment. This lifts your little one up for easier eye contact and great social opportunities with the rest of the family.
From 6 Months
The Tripp Trapp grows with your little one to suit their changing needs. At around six to nine months, your little one will be able to begin sitting upright unaided. By adding the Baby Set, your little one will be gently supported so they can comfortably sit at the table.
For Junior + Beyond
When your child can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set and the Tripp Trapp transforms into a stylish chair for life. Made from high quality European beech wood, the iconic Tripp Trapp chair is strong, stylish and durable. Fully adjustable, it provides a comfortable seat that can be used from the teen years well into adulthood.
